Diageo's strategy to concentrate on 14 key drinks brands continues to pay dividends. It ended FY12 with revenues up 8 per cent and operating profit up nearly 22 per cent to £3.2bn. In particular Diageo has earmarked a sizeable investment to increase its whisky production.
